SAND SPRINGS, OK -- The City of Sand Springs is raising its rates for water, sewer and trash service as part of a five-year plan to pay for operations, maintenance and improvements.
City officials say the average family of four will pay about $3 more a month.
The new rates take effect beginning with the March 9 billing cycle. Also, customers receiving sewer service will see a change in their rate calculation based on average usage during winter.
