Meth Lab Found In West Tulsa Apartment

The drug lab was discovered at the Parkview Terrace Apartments, near West 59th Street and South Union Avenue.

TULSA, OK - Tulsa Police investigate a meth lab. It was discovered before noon at the Parkview Terrace Apartments, near West 59th Street and South Union Avenue.

Tulsa Police Sgt. Gary Neece tells The News On 6 that the Tulsa Housing Authority had received reports of a meth lab operating in one of the apartments that they went to check out.

"Knocked on the front door and were allowed entry. They were speaking with some of the occupants when they noticed a body dropped from a second story window outside," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Gary Neece.

THA pursued the suspect, caught him, but then he got away. The housing authority went back into the apartment and found a meth lab on the second floor. That's when they called the police.

One person was taken into custody from the apartment. Police are still looking for the other man who ran from the housing authority.
