Motorcyclist Killed In Tulsa Highway Crash

Tulsa Police and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigate a Thursday morning motorcycle crash.

TULSA, OK - Tulsa Police have released the name of the motorcycle rider killed in a crash  Thursday morning.

Tulsa police identify the man as Kevin Ray Manus.  They say the 43-year-old was a Tulsa resident.

The incident happened around 6:30.  Tulsa Police and the Highway Patrol say Manus was going too fast as he exited from Highway 169 onto the eastbound ramp of the Broken Arrow Expressway. 

They say the motorcycle struck a truck then went into a skid on its side.  Police say another pickup truck was unable to stop and struck the victim and the motorcycle.

An ambulance took Manus to St. Francis were he was pronounced dead.

Police say he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
