Probe Continues Into Silver City Fire

SILVER CITY, OK -- There are new developments in the massive grass fire that lead to the death of a firefighter last week.

Investigators say they now have a witness who saw the people who started the fire.  The blaze broke out late last Friday night near Silver City.

The witness told authorities that they saw two men in a white car throwing something on fire out the car windows.  Firefighters identified the items as sparklers.   

Volunteer firefighter John Adams died while fighting the fire, his funeral was held on Wednesday in Mannford.
