MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) - Officials in southern Australia are worried about the Friday weather forecast that calls for strong winds and temperatures in the 90s.
They warn that wildfires in the region could flare once again. Four major fires are still burning.
Meanwhile, the confirmed number of deaths from the Black Saturday fires earlier this month has risen to 210, as more remains discovered in the rubble are identified.
More than 2,000 homes have been destroyed. Australia's insurance council reports thousands of claims totaling more than a half-billion dollars.
