TULSA, OK -- A Broken Arrow man charged Thursday with first-degree murder was released from jail a day later.

Joshua Vaughn, 31, met $125,000 bond and was released from the Tulsa County Jail about 10:30 p.m. Friday, jail records show.

Vaughn is accused of fatally shooting a neighbor Feb. 10 in the 400 block of West Miami Street.

Police officers say Vaughn was playing pool in his garage with a few friends when 31-year-old Tommy Lovell walked over. The two had been drinking and got into an argument, and Vaughn allegedly shot Lovell six times.

Vaughn had been held in jail without bond since the shooting. On Friday, Vaughn's lawyer, Allen Smallwood, asked Judge Millie Otey to set bond.

Otey set the bond under conditions that Vaughn had to surrender his concealed-carry card; can't have any weapons in his home or vehicle; can't use ordinary objects as a weapon; must report to court services weekly to provide proof of employment and housing and undergo a weekly urine test until his preliminary hearing.
