WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Tulsa's Mayor Kathy Taylor was one of 85 mayors which met with President Obama Friday morning to talk about stimulus money.
During that meeting, Obama warned the nation's mayors that he will "call them out" if they waste the money from his massive economic stimulus plan.
The $787 billion economic plan passed by Congress and signed by President Obama will inject a sudden boost of cash into infrastructure, education, energy and health care.
City of Tulsa officials say Mayor Kathy Taylor was at that meeting in Washington, D.C. Friday.
Taylor says her office is ready to make applications to the state and federal agencies for the stimulus funding and will be extremely aggressive in the pursuit of the economic stimulus money for a variety of projects for the City of Tulsa.
