JENKS, OK -- Some Jenks students got themselves into a sticky situation on Thursday.  They duct taped two students to a wall in the gym just to see how long they could hang there.  The activity was part of a plan to get students excited about the upcoming Relay for Life.

Thursday marked the 6th year Jenks High School has hosted a team and they're hoping to raise about $40,000.

Team members say besides just being fun, taping students to a wall draws a big crowd, and that's a great chance to promote their cause.

"The students are just trying to get the student body excited this week and pumped up about relay so they'll come out and help raise money," said Margauz Dill with Jenks Relay for Life.

The Jenks Relay for Life starts March 6th at 7 p.m.at the Jenks High School.
