TULSA, OK -- About 170 homes in Tulsa will be without water for 48 hours this weekend while four valves on a water line are replaced.

Water will be turned off at 11 p.m. Friday for parts of the Crutchfield area, on North Utica Avenue from Interstate 244 to Latimer Street and on North Trenton Avenue from Archer Street to Admiral Place.

A small area south of Archer Street between Utica and Lewis avenues will also be affected.

Residents and businesses affected will be notified Wednesday, according to a news release from the mayor's office.

A water truck will be stationed at the intersection of Archer Street and Zunis Avenue. Affected residents can fill bottles, buckets or other containers with drinkable water from a trailer.
