TULSA, OK -- Hundreds of amazing artists participated in the Oklahoma Regional Scholastic Art Awards on Sunday.
The event is part of a national contest that recognizes creative teens and gives scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
Nearly 300 students were on hand for the celebration of all their hard work and talents, something organizers say was in abundance.
"Lots of good, young talent and it comes from all over the state, which is good to see," said Dewayne Pass, Tulsa Community College.
More than 1,300 entries were submitted in the contest with the artists ranging from 7th grade to seniors in high school.
