Borovetz Pleads Guilty To Embezzlement Charges

MUSKOGEE, OK-- A former Muskogee County employee charged with felony wire fraud and embezzlement makes a deal with prosecutors.

Jackie Borovetz pleaded guilty to 11 counts and could get almost two years in prison for a check scheme that cost the state and Muskogee County almost $600,000.

Borovetz could've gotten up to 20 years in prison.  As part of the deal, Borovetz cannot appeal her conviction or sentence.
