TULSA, OK -- An investigation into fraudulent record-keeping at the Tulsa Fire Department has resulted in the re-assignment of three fire officials and the retirement of two others.

Bobby Tollette and Rick Wright, both from the Emergency Medical Services Branch, and Mike Graves, chief of training, have been transferred to fire-fighting duties.

Fire Marshall David Dayringer and Tim Cooper, deputy chief of support services, have retired.

The changes are effective immediately.

Mayor Kathy Taylor released a statement Wednesday.

"The changes result from an audit commissioned by my office in response to an investigation conducted by the Oklahoma State Department of Health and Emergency Medical Service Division," Taylor said in the statement.

An internal department process will determine how the positions are filled.
