Oklahomans Nominated For Music Awards

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Several Oklahomans are among the nominees announced Wednesday for Academy of Country Music Awards.

Carrie Underwood is a finalist for three awards including Entertainer of Year.

If she wins she'll be only the 7th female to take the award and join the likes of Loretta Lynn and fellow Oklahoman Reba McEntire.

She's also nominated for a third straight Top Female Vocalist and Video of the Year.

Toby Keith is a finalist for Top Male Vocalist, Ronnie Dunn of Brooks and Dunn is nominated for a 16th straight Top Vocal Duo and for Vocal Event of the Year.

Rascal Flatts with Joe Don Rooney is nominated for Top Vocal Group.

Reba McEntire will host the ceremony on April 5 for the 11th time.
