TULSA, OK -- Tia Hill is the face of an economy in turmoil. After three years of devoted service to IBM in Tulsa, the mother of two is losing her job.
Tia Hill and many others like her are facing the worst economic times since The Great Depression, and alongside hundreds of thousands other workers, Tia's job is heading overseas.
For the past three years, Tia has worked as a financial analyst for IBM.
Tia also spent six years of her career working for the City of Tulsa.
She has a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern State University, where she joined the MBA Honors Society.
In short, Tia is the prime example of what an employee should be. However, not even the best of workers can compete with an economy crumbling with the pressure and uncertainty of what lies ahead.
Tia Hill is sharing her story with Six in the Morning to help others in Green Country facing the same situation.
On the verge of losing her job, Tia stands to show that anyone can suddenly be let go.
