Skiatook Home Destroyed By Fire

SKIATOOK, OK -- An investigation is underway into a fire that gutted a home in Skiatook overnight.

A neighbor spotted a glow out his window shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday. He told Skiatook Police, he went to see if anyone was home and then called for help.

It turns out, no one was in the home in the 600 block of North Woodchuck Lane at the time of the fire.

Damage to the home was estimated at $250,000.

There is no word on what sparked the fire.
