Suspects Sought In Tulsa Apartment Robbery

TULSA, OK -- The search continues for three suspects involved in a robbery and beating overnight.

The robbery happened at the Braden Creek Apartments at 47th and Braden.

Tulsa Police say three men went to one apartment in the complex and when the victim opened the door, they knocked him to the floor.

The victim says one suspect had a gun and pistol whipped him. The suspects then ransacked the apartment and took a computer and iPod before fleeing the scene.

Police say the victim did suffer some cuts and bruises and possibly a broken nose in the assault and was taken to a Tulsa hospital for treatment.

Police say the beating appeared to be more than a simple robbery and they continue to investigate.

A woman also in the apartment was pushed around during the assault, but police say she will be okay.

Both victims told police they did not know the suspects.
