Police Investigate Tulsa Shooting Victim's Story

Tulsa Police are investigating a late Monday night shooting after a victim with a minor wound to the forehead showed up a Tulsa hospital.

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police are investigating a late Monday night shooting after a victim with a minor wound to the forehead showed up a Tulsa hospital.

Police were dispatched to the hospital's ER after the victim arrived at the hospital by private vehicle.

The victim, 26-year old Jerry Morgan told officers he had been shot in the parking lot of a restaurant at 1117 East Pine during a robbery attempt at 10:22 p.m. Monday.

After being shot, the victim said he drove to a cousin's home for help and was taken to the hospital by the cousin.

Police say the victim's vehicle was located and they found numerous bullet holes in the vehicle.

Police say Morgan's injury is not life threatening.
