TULSA, OK -- Police are looking for a man who committed the eighth bank robbery of the year Saturday afternoon.
The man had his head covered with a black cloth and wore three lights on his forehead during the robbery at the Bank of Oklahoma branch inside the Food Pyramid at 81st Street and Yale Avenue, Sgt. Dave Walker of Tulsa Police said.
The bandit demanded money from the three tellers, who put the money into the man's large black mesh laundry bag. The man then apologized to the tellers and told them to "have a great day," Walker said.
No weapon was seen, and no one was injured.
The robber ran north from the location but was not found. He was described as white, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160-180 pounds. He was wearing a dark green jacket with reflective tape on the upper arms, jeans and black-and-white patterned shoes.
Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS, the robbery hotline at 527-0085 or the FBI at 664-3300.
