TULSA, OK -- Four people were able to escape a head-on collision with no major injuries late Friday night.
Police said the wreck happened at Yale Avenue and East Haskell Place when one of the drivers crossed the center line and hit the other vehicle at full speed.
Officers said they expected the worst when they saw the cars.
"It's the best that could have happened," Cpl. Darren Bristow of Tulsa Police said. "This could have been a real bad wreck with numerous fatalities. Seatbelts were in use by all the occupants, which definitely saved the lives, which you can tell by looking at the vehicles."
Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the crash.
