MIAMI, OK -- Three Bartlesville residents are in the Ottawa County jail after robbing a home, a high speed police chase and crashing their car in Coffeyville, Kansas.
Ottawa County Sheriff Terry Durborow says on Monday evening, a couple returned home to find two men inside their home.
One of the suspects pulled a gun before fleeing in a car driven by a female suspect.
About 45 minutes later, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper spotted the vehicle in rural Nowata County and began a pursuit.
The vehicle was finally stopped after it crashed in Coffeyville, Kansas.
Arrested were 18-year old Jesse Gentner, 24-year old Samuel Lefadeju and 18-year old Jordan Perdasofpy.
Sheriff Durborow says it appears as if the suspects had been visiting a local casino in Miami and decided to rob a house on their way out of town.
He says most of the stolen property was recovered from the vehicle with the exception of a firearm that was stolen from the residence. It is believed the firearm was thrown from the vehicle at some point during the pursuit.
Bonds were set in the amount of $200,000 for Gentner and Perdasofpy and $300,000 for Lefadeju.
All three remain in the Ottawa County jail.
