OHP Troopers Arrest Suspect Following Chase

TULSA, OK -- An early morning Oklahoma Highway Patrol chase early Wednesday ends with an accident in northeast Tulsa.

The chase began at about 5:45 a.m. and ended a short time later at Pine and Garnett.

OHP troopers tried to stop the driver of a car weaving in traffic and that is when the car took off. The chase went nearly to Catoosa and then back to Tulsa where the suspect's vehicle ran into a pickup truck.

Watch emergency crews extinguish car fire and treat driver.

The suspect, who was arrested, was taken to a Tulsa hospital for his injuries. There is no word on his condition.

The driver of the pickup truck was also taken to a Tulsa hospital for his injuries.
