Tulsa Gas Leak Prompts Lane Closure

TULSA, OK -- Police say Pine at 145^th East Avenue was down to one lane Tuesday morning for about an hour because of a gas leak. 

Police say the leak was apparently from a pipeline in a nearby field.   As a precaution, police officers closed down the westbound lane at Pine. 

Tulsa Fire stood by as ONG crews were called in to shut off the leak. 

There were no evacuations because of the gas leak.
