TULSA, OK -- Thanks to a Crime Stoppers tip, Tulsa Police arrested a bank robbery suspect Friday morning.

Tulsa Police Sgt. Dave Walker says 26-year old Chris Rodman was arrested in connection with the robbery of the Valley National Bank branch at 2020 East 21st Street Thursday morning and the robbery of the Bank of America branch at 48th and Peoria Thursday afternoon.

Walker says a worker at the Brook Alley Bar at 4700 South Peoria called Crime Stoppers after spotting Chris Rodman in the bar Friday morning.

Police officers responded to the bar and arrested Rodman.

Walker says Rodman had a note in his possession that stated a demand for a specific amount of cash or else.  On Thursday, police say Rodman allegedly handed a bank teller a similar note.
