Wedding Whim - Alysandra Howard & Brandon Clay

When I first met Brandon, I was going through some extremely hard times (that sounds cliche!). It was the first time I had went out with some friends for a while. From then on, everything changed. It really did. He made me laugh.

Being around him made me feel like a better person. For the next three or four months, we were inseparable. We spent every day together. That New Year's, and he told me he loved me. It's been a year, now, since we started dating. I've learned so much from him. He has such a good heart and can make everyone around him smile - it's extremely contagious.

Most of all, it's impossible to picture my life without him. Brandon asked me to marry him this past November, during a SceneIt board game at our house. We love board games! I don't remember most of that night, to be honest! It was such a blur. I never really looked at my ring until the next day! It was perfect.

Our families both have their hands full right now. His family - I couldn't have asked for a more perfect family to join. They are going through a lot right now. His mom (God love her) is a recovering cancer survivor and an amazing woman. They want to do everything they can. Then there is my family - three children graduated and moved out, while four are still living at home.

My parents have just recently fostered a new baby. They are working so hard on adopting her. So, for the time being, there is a lot going on with our families. They truly want to do what they can for us. But for, now, a little extra help couldn't hurt!
