Wagoner Man Headed To Prison On Child Porn Charges

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- A Wagoner County man receives a 20-year prison term for taking pornographic pictures of a child.

Seventy-eight-year-old Owen Lee West pleaded guilty in July to a federal count of sexual exploitation of a minor child.

According to a news release from U.S. Attorney Sheldon J. Sperling, authorities seized 180 pictures depicting children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Sperling says West allegedly took the pictures between April 2003 and February.

He's been in jail since his May 2 arrest.
