According to Wagoner County Sheriff's investigator Dewayne Goad, deputies and Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers got a call about a shooting near East 14st Street and South 257th East Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

After an investigation Goad says they believe Richard Davis was upset with his wife Malissa Mears. They were separated at the time.

Goad says Davis went to Malissa's residence, kicked in the door and made entry into the home. Once inside the home, Richard shot Malissa's boyfriend, David Cascante in the face.

At that point, Cascante and Mears fled the home in Cascante's vehicle.

Goad says Davis chased Cascante and Mears in his vehicle to South 257th East Avenue near East 21st Street. At that point, Cascante drove into a field. Goad says the vehicle became stuck.

Both Cascante and Mears then fled on foot.

Cascante made it to a nearby home, but Mears was unable to escape.

Goad says she was shot in the head by Davis. He says at that point Davis, turned the gun on himself.
