TULSA, OK -- The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis received a $400,000 donation on Thursday that will help relocate and update their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Hospital officials say the new NIC-U will have private rooms, even more beds, plus special care beds that can simulate a mother's womb.

"It will allow us to even further our neonatal care and provide really state of the art care for some of the tinniest patients that we take care of," said Children's Hospital executive director Shannon Filosa.

The donation was gift shop proceeds that were given by members of the Volunteer Auxiliary, who work at the gift shop for free.
