Former Tulsa School Super Gets New Job

EL PASO, TX -- A Texas area school district has hired former Tulsa School superintendent Dr. Michael Zolkoski. The Ysleta Independent School District's trustees voted in favor of Zolkoski Wednesday evening.

The Ysleta Independent School District has about 44,000 students.

Zolkoski was forced to resign from the Tulsa School District earlier this year after concerns were raised over the school district's Academic Center.

Texas school officials say they will meet with Zolkoski in January to finalize his contract.
