UNDATED -- A Berryhill fourth grader is being called a life saver. The CEO of eastern Oklahoma's Girl Scouts presented Molly Francisco with the Scout's Life Saving medal on Friday.
Molly rushed into do the Heimlich maneuver when she saw another girl choking on a French fry.
"I was walking to put my stuff in the trash can, then I saw her and I just dropped my stuff and did it," said Molly Francisco.
"It's an honor; she had the opportunity to do something that a lot of people don't get to do, save a life. So it's a, it's good to know people still care about other people," said Darin Francisco, Molly's Father.
Molly had learned the technique through Girl Scouts just a few months earlier. She now wants to be a nurse when she grows up.
