BOK Center Set To Announce Major Concert

TULSA, OK -- We may know by Tuesday afternoon if Elton John and Billy Joel will be bringing their "Face 2 Face" tour to Tulsa's BOK Center next March.

The BOK Center and Live Nation will hold a joint news conference Tuesday afternoon.

A release announcing the news conference, states, "the concert will feature two of the world's most renowned performers. Same stage, same night, one incredible evening."

So far, the Elton John/Billy Joel tour has confirmed March concert dates in Jacksonville, Florida, Cincinnati, Ohio, Atlanta, Georgia and Phoenix, Arizona.

Elton John's website already has Tulsa listed as one of the stops.

According to promoters, John and Joel plan to open on twin pianos and trading vocals on a series of duets. They last toured together in 2003.
