TULSA, OK -- Students at Union's 6th and 7th Grade Center got a special lesson in science on Tuesday.

The kids built roller coasters using pipe insulation and tape, and then sent glass marbles for a ride.

The coasters were part of a science project to teach students about potential and kinetic energy.  It was an experiment that got the kids talking science.

The teachers say the kids liked the project so much; they're going to make it an annual event for the 6th grade class.
