TULSA, OK -- Thanksgiving is just a few days away and it's definitely not a good time to be a turkey.
Some Iowa turkeys are this year's finalists for the 19th annual "Presidential Turkey Pardon".
Every year the president picks a turkey and a alternate turkey to be pardoned from the dinner table and become the "National Thanksgiving Turkey."
It's an honor their owner says he wishes they understood.
"If they knew they were competing to become the chosen ones they would probably be behaving a lot better," said Paul Hill of Circle Hill Farms.
The chosen birds will be flown first class to Walt Disneyland Resort in California where one will be the grand marshal of Disneyland's Thanksgiving Day parade.
President Bush will also give the birds' names, and you can help him choose, click here.
