TULSA, OK -- The concourse at Tulsa International Airport was awash with red, white and blue Saturday afternoon.
Two U.S. Marines, Spencer Crowe and Matthew Blase were greeted with tears and hugs from family and friends.
The Tulsa natives said they never expected such a crowd to welcome them home.
"No, no not really. I try to come home and just hang out with friends and family, just get out of the Marine Corps life," said Lance Cpl. Spencer Crowe.
Both Marines head back to Fallujah in 30 days, after spending the Thanksgiving holiday at home.
U.S. Army Reserve Major Gary Gile, who lives near Coffeyville, Kansas on the other hand, is home for good.
The southeast Kansas solider finished his tour of duty, spending the last 9 months in Baghdad.
