Day Care Owner Receives Safe Room

TULSA, OK -- Some North Tulsa kids will be a lot safer during severe weather. That's because DuPont donated a "Safe Room" to Sherri Dixon on Thursday for her home day care.

Sherri says parents put the safety of their kids in her hands.

"It just eases my heart to have great comfort and safety for the children," said Dixon.

Sherri was nominated for the free "Safe Room" and met all the requirements to get one.
