UNDATED -- When gas prices hit $4 a gallon this summer, everyone was scrambling for answers. 

Oil tycoon T-Boone Pickens commanded the nation's attention with his plan to harness the wind to help free America from foreign oil. 

News On 6 anchor Terry Hood has been looking into how the Pickens plan could impact Oklahoma.  But since she started working on this story, the situation has already changed with oil prices dropping and gas now hovering around $1.73 a gallon. 

Terry Hood traveled to Nolan County in Texas to look the nation's largest wind farm.
