SAND SPRINGS, OK -- Two local soccer teams honored a fellow player on Saturday.

Someone ran out from the crowd and starting attacking one of the players last Saturday. That player was 16-year-old Eddie Ledesma.

Eddie played on three soccer teams, including the two that played Saturday night. Before the game, they gathered to pray and each team took the field with one less player to represent their loss.

Plus, players wore shirts with Eddie's number, 17.

"A lot of these guys behind us lost a very close friend, a friend they considered a family member," said Ryan Bush.

Police arrested 16-year-old Edgar Saucedo. He's charged with second degree murder.
