Veterans Day Ceremony Draws Crowd

OWASSO, OK -- A Veterans Day ceremony in Owasso brought out dozens of people on Saturday. Many people came out to see General Myles Deering.

General Deering led the 45th Infantry Brigade of the Oklahoma National Guard, and gave his first public speech since his return from Iraq last month.

The general was in charge of about 2,600 Oklahoma National Guard troops, and amazingly every one of them made it back safely.

Also at the event was News On 6 anchor Craig Day who served as master of ceremonies.
