Driver Blames Deer For Accident

TULSA, OK -- A driver was taken to a Tulsa hospital after he says a deer ran in front of him causing him to wreck.

The accident happened around 3 a.m. Wednesday.

The vehicle was westbound on 51st Street between state Highway 97 and Skyline Drive.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver told them a deer ran in front of him causing him to swerve off the road. Alcohol may have played a role in the accident.

Troopers say the man was not badly hurt, but was taken to a Tulsa hospital for his injuries.
