TULSA, OK -- It was a day of living history at one Tulsa library on Saturday.

Dozens of people of all ages showed up at the Helmerich Library to learn about World War II. There was military equipment on display, uniforms and ever reenactments.

"We're trying to maintain the history, we're losing more and more veterans every day we want to make sure we save and preserve the history and present people so that they can understand where we came from and what we've done to this country in the last 60 years," said Kevin O'Keefe.

Organizers say they hope to make this an annual event, even bigger and better next year.
