Economy Leads To Jobs Losses

STILLWATER, OK -- A plant in Stillwater is laying off workers because of the economic downturn.  National-Standard is one of the nation's top producers of industrial wire products.

The company's president wouldn't say how many people would be affected, but did say that there is no talk of closing the plant completely.

He says he hopes the jobs will return when the economy improves.
