TULSA, OK - Crews with the Tulsa Fire Department were called to a house fire shortly after 5 a.m. on Sunday in the 2200 block of East 50th Street North.
Crews say nearly 50% of the home was on fire when they arrived. They started to fight it from inside, but due to heavy fire conditions, crews battled the rest of the flames from outside in order to protect firefighter safety.
The home was a total loss. Initial damage estimates are at about $60,000.
No one was injured. The cause is under investigation.
