Muskogee Teacher Gets Big Surprise

MUSKOGEE, OK -- A Muskogee teacher got a big honor and a big check on Wednesday. Ronia Davison received the Milken Educator Award during a surprise ceremony.

Miss Davison teaches 3rd grade at Sadler Arts Academy in Muskogee. She's the only Oklahoma teacher to receive the award this year.

It recognizes the hard work of as many as 80 of the nation's best educators each year.

Besides the bragging rights, the winning teachers also get $25,000.
