UNDATED -- A cold front has arrived in northeastern Oklahoma along with a line of thunderstorms.
Some of those storms according to News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says may be severe with damaging winds.
Colder air will follow the frontal passage by midday from Tulsa west, and then by early afternoon at the latest across eastern Oklahoma.
Temperatures will drop from the lower 60s to the lower 50s behind the boundary with gusty northwest winds.
The cold air will remain for the next several days. Alan Crone says there will be periods of sun after the frontal boundary today, but clouds will eventually fill back in across the area tonight and remain through Friday.
Saturday should be pleasant but on the cool side with morning lows in the lower 40s or even some upper 30s.
Sunday another surge of cool air arrives. Alan Crone says temperatures are not expected to take a big dive southward. Highs will remain in the 60s Sunday and Monday.
