TV Thefts On The Rise

TULSA, OK -- Flat screen televisions continue to be hot items for burglars in the Tulsa area.

Police say one was stolen overnight from a Tulsa company.

Police officers were called to the Dresser Rand Company at 13th and Sheridan around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. Employees told officers someone had thrown a chunk of concrete through the front door, causing it to shatter.

The thieves took the big screen TV sitting in the lobby.

Company officials say it doesn't appear anything else was taken in the burglary
