TULSA, OK -- They're driving to defeat cancer. On Monday, The Fight Back Express Cancer Bus made a stop in Tulsa.
The bus is part of the American Cancer Society's six-month, 48-state tour to make cancer research a national priority.
"Cancer funding has been cut at the national government level, they're the largest funder of cancer national research, and it's been frozen for the last five years. So it's really important that we keep remembering that cancer doesn't stop, it keeps going and it still remains a national priority for us," said Sara Hawkins of the American Cancer Society.
The bus will make its final stop in Washington D.C., just in time for the presidential election.
