TULSA, OK -- It could be another wild week on Wall Street. But there is some good news for those with state pension plans.
Officials say Oklahoma's two public pension funds have only a small portion of their portfolios invested in troubled banking institutions.
They say pensions would only be in jeopardy if the market continued with this trend for 10 or 15 years.
State officials also say the Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System and the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System are backed by the full faith and credit of the state of Oklahoma.
