TULSA, OK -- Firefighters arrived on the scene of an accident on Saturday to find a car on fire, upside down in a creek.
The fire chief says there were two men and a young girl in the car. He says the two men had minor injuries, but the girl was banged up pretty bad.
A woman on her way to work saw the whole thing happen.
Keata Wilson says the driver was getting onto the Highway 169 on-ramp from of the Broken Arrow Expressway. She says for some reason, the driver changed his mind and quickly tried to get back onto the B.A.
That's when Wilson says he ended up going down the embankment, landing upside down in the creek.
Wilson says she called 911 then heard someone yell there was a child in the car. As a mother, that's something, she says hit too close to home.
There's no word on the young girls' condition. But, the fire chief says he thought she'd be okay.
