Fatal Accident Slows Traffic On 169

A fatal traffic accident near 21st Street backed up traffic Wednesday.

TULSA, OK -- A crash on U.S. Highway 169 near 21st Street backed up traffic in both directions on Wednesday evening. A pickup truck driven by 55 year old Ronald Koepp crashed into the center median.

Tulsa Police say Koepp was driving southbound on U.S. Highway 169 when he started to exit at 21st Street, but then, his pickup truck apparently re-entered the highway, lost control and crashed into the center median.

The Koepp was partially ejected from his pickup truck and suffered fatal injuries.
