BROKEN ARROW, OK -- A Broken Arrow police officer has his job back. Officer Juan Jenkins was fired after a string of incidents, including being accused of slapping a handcuffed woman, making a racially inappropriate joke and shooting at a man who the officer thought was armed.

An arbitrator ruled the city had no just cause to fire Jenkins. He was ordered back to work with full back pay.

However, he must serve a 30-day suspension for slapping the woman; receive a written warning for the joke and counseling involving the shooting.

Jenkins had served 16 years with no discipline on his record and received four commendations and a life saving award.
