Church Celebrates Blessing Of The Pets

TULSA, OK -- Pets took center stage at the John Knox Presbyterian Church on Saturday. It was the churches 3rd annual Blessing of the Pets.

Dozens showed up for the event with their beloved friends, some even bringing pictures of pets who had passed away.

The church says it's a fun way to honor those furry family members.

"You know we have all kinds of animals. They can come on leashes they can come in a bowl whatever, but this year all dogs, all precious dogs," said Church Deacon Alice Stanish.

After the blessing all the church members and their pets were invited to an ice cream social.
